Groupon’s First TV Partnership

Groupon is getting into cooking! The social buying platform is running a promotion with several of America’s Top Chef’s. If you don’t know, Top Chef is a reality game show on Bravo that pits chefs against each other to compete in cooking challenges that lead to one Top Chef.

For food lovers in select cities like Atlanta, D.C., Miami and San Francisco, this weekend you’ll be able to get private lessons or discounted meals from your favorite chefs on past seasons. This could be a good reason for me to road trip to Atlanta this weekend!

Waving Goodbye!

Google has announced that they are pulling the plug on Google Wave. Here at Step Ahead we were so excited about the release of Google Wave, but when it came out, we never really could get into it.

Everyone was all hyped up about the possibility of Wave as a new form of communication that could ultimately replace email. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
