Public Relations Project Manager
Part-time, hourly, varies but approx 6-10 hours/week
Experience: minimum 3-5 years in public relations or journalism; some journalism experience REQUIRED
Skills: Successful media pitching; good understanding of news values; Associated Press journalistic writing style; ability to write catchy, journalistic press releases; creative; organized; deadline driven.
Job: Step Ahead, Inc. is looking for a public relations project manager to assist on public relations projects for our various clients. This individual will write press releases, brainstorm newsworthy ideas, assist in developing public relations strategy, conduct research, write media kits and pitch journalists. Please do not apply if your experience does not fit our requirements. We will require all candidates to take a press release writing test to ensure writing ability.
