Requirements: 2-3 years in public relations (more is fine, but pay will align with this experience level); prefer some journalism experience; must be located in Indianapolis area and be willing to attend meetings in Zionsville area; laptop/computer; must be a Butler fan (just kidding

Skills: Confidence and success in media pitching; good understanding of news values; Associated Press journalistic writing style; ability to write compelling, journalistic press releases; creative; organized; able to meet deadlines.
Job: Step Ahead, Inc. is looking for a public relations project manager to assist on public relations projects for several national clients. This individual will write press releases, assist in developing public relations strategy, conduct research, pitch journalists, write blog posts, develop media lists, work directly with the client under manager’s supervision. We will require all candidates to take a press release writing test to determine writing skills.
